Summary
Agri-Tech Consulting from Whitewater, WI performed a trial with Purple Cow Organics' Bioactive LiquiLife (formerly CX-1) and Bioactive LiquiLife+ (formerly CXPro) to view the effects on yield, nitrogen efficiency, and ROI.
Margins were based on the 2021 going rate of $6.00/Bu corn and $0.95/unit of UAN.
The use of both LiquiLife and LiquiLife+ showed a distinct increase in margins due to a lower rate of necessary applied Nitrogen while using our broad-spectrum biological. The half-rate of LiquiLife+ proved the initial goal, unlocking additional savings for farmers through reduced rates of additional applied Nitrogen and inputs.
Trial
All trials received 90 lb/acre 11-52-0 (previous fall), 200 lb/acre 0-0-62 (previous fall), and 45 gal/acre UAN (2 days after planting).
